Hello Baboon,
In your case not working meant the galleries are not displayed any more.
You had a very good idea to use the actual version (in this case master) of the plugin. It contained the needed changes already.

Now i created a release of the plugins. these contain your 'master' and a try to include an update server which shall tell about further changes

Sorry for the inconvinience
Regards whazzup

The upload of files in the backend got revisited and re-coded
* It is now possible to upload files with drag and drop.
* You may turn or flip the image afterwards

A matching documentation will follow within the next weeks on
1. Select an existing gallery
2. Drag and drop a batch of files into the drag area (tried more the 40 at once)

These will be uploaded and assigned to the gallery which needs time.

3. If you want to annotate text or change the titles then you can press button "Add image properties"
A window with all actually uploaded images will appear where you can change the title and description
The images can be turned or flipped there also.
baboon thanks
It is now updated in the repository and will be in nex release

the file :

refer to this file with a wrong path :

Code: [Select]
$document->addStyleSheet(JURI_SITE . "/components/com_rsgallery2/lib/rsgcomments/rsgsearch.css");
it should be :

Code: [Select]
$document->addStyleSheet(JURI_SITE . "/components/com_rsgallery2/lib/rsgsearch/rsgsearch.css");
Thanks ![/code]

Hello Andres,

You did not specify how many pictures you have or gonna have.
You may check my website (the banner image is actual too big so don't count that one ;-)
For nearly ten years i add 25-50 images in one/two gallery/ies per month

This is a gallery with 127 images

The following is the overview page

The truth is that the gallery view is slower then it could be.
1) Too many code is loaded
2) Too many images in one server directory

This will change in the future
If you followed the development the last years you may
have experienced a big step to a faster backend.

Actually i add drag and drop upload in the backend and after
that will care for the features in the frontend

Hopefully i could help to answer your question
Regards whazzup

Maybe i can give you the anavar link over the e-mail.

I do use sub galleries.

Having that many photos will make the page load take ages right?

Hello Ha4711,
sorry no idea

Which upload Methode do you use ?
Necessary is zip upload in backend
on mygallery *.zip and *,.img may be uploaded
Does the file end with *.zip ?
Can you try a zip with just a few files ?

Regards Whazzup
